Community Acupuncture is acupuncture treatment offered at an affordable price so that more members of the local community can benefit. It represents a return to the traditional multi-bed approach used in Asia. In our community setting, patients share our peaceful treament room where there are four couches and two acupuncturists working at the same time. Privacy is maintained with screens.

The inital 1 hour consultation (which includes a treatment) takes place in the communal room but there is a small separate space if you wish to discuss anything privately. Follow-ups last 40 minutes. The first 20 minutes are devoted to feedback, pulse and tongue diagnosis and needle insertion. Once the needles are in place we leave you to relax for 20 minutes whilst we move on to another patient. This way of treating allows us to reduce our costs and consequently charge you less.
